Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Trainer with strong knowledge of Data Center Operations, Power Systems, and Environmental Controls. The trainer will be responsible for delivering technical sessions, labs, and hands-on demonstrations to students, ensuring they gain a complete understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers.

Key Training Topics & Responsibilities

  • Electrical Power Systems: Basics of Data Center Power, UPS Systems, Battery Management, Generators, and Redundancy Models (N+1, 2N)
  • Power Distribution: PDUs, RPPs, Busways — interpreting and troubleshooting Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • HVAC & Cooling Systems: CRAC/CRAH units, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot/Cold Aisle Containment
  • Environmental Monitoring: Temperature, Humidity, Airflow management
  • Fire Safety & Suppression: VESDA, FM200, Novec 1230 systems, Fire Safety Drill Simulations
  • Building Systems: BMS, SCADA & Remote Monitoring, Energy Efficiency & Green Data Centers
  • Maintenance & Operations: Preventive Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance, Emergency Operations (Power or Cooling Failure)
  • Process & Compliance: Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Mock Drills, and Industry Standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, LEED)

Skills & Requirements

Strong technical knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical systems in Data Centers

Experience with UPS, HVAC, Fire Safety, BMS & SCADA systems

Good communication & presentation skills

Ability to conduct theory and hands-on practical sessions

Passion for teaching and mentoring students
