  • Business Development & Acquisition:

  • Achieve overall business targets related to volumes and profitability for BBG customers.

  • Acquire new "New to Bank" (NTB) business banking and MSME relationships, focusing on both asset (working capital facilities, term loans) and liability (Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Fixed Deposits) products.
  • Generate leads through proactive market scoping, identifying potential customers, and coordinating with the branch banking team.
  • Regularly interact with branches for lead generation, ensuring conversions, and updating lead statuses in the CRM system.

  • Relationship Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of 30-40 BBG credit relationships, providing quality service and acting as a dedicated point of contact for all banking needs.

  • Enhance and deepen existing relationships by analyzing customer needs and cross-selling relevant banking products and services (e.g., Cash Management Services, Trade and Treasury Products, Insurance, Mutual Funds).
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention of customers.

  • Credit and Documentation:

  • Coordinate with the credit department for the preparation of Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs), approvals, and deferral closures.

  • Ensure all pre-disbursement (documentation collection, legal and valuation reports) and post-disbursement documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage portfolio reviews, stress accounts, and ensure the timely submission of stock statements and insurance renewals.

  • Compliance and Operations:

  • Follow all laid-down sales and compliance processes, ensuring all activities comply with the bank's policies and regulatory standards.

  • Make regular client calls and update all interactions in the CRM system for monitoring and future guidance.
  • Coordinate with local operations teams for smooth transactions, such as disbursements, limit settings, and trade/forex transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, ideally in business or corporate banking relationship management.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Post Graduate degree or CA qualification is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial statements and balance sheets, relationship management skills, sales and influencing skills, analytical ability, and negotiation skills. Role & responsibilities
