Job Title: Chemist/ RA – Synthesis (CRO)

Department: R&D – Synthetic Organic Chemistry

Level: Junior level

Location: Nacharam,Hyderabad

Experience: 1- 3 years of CRO experience

Qualification: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry

Key Responsibilities/ Technical Skills Requirements:

 Perform multi-step organic synthesis for targeted molecules and intermediates.

 Set-up and execute reactions for synthesis of targeted molecules/ compounds

 Work closely with senior scientific team to complete the projects successfully.

 Maintain laboratory notebooks (LNBs & ELNBs) in compliance with GLP standards

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals

 Participate in FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) based projects and client deliverables

 Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per project requirements

 Work under strict timelines while maintaining high levels of safety and

documentation

 Willingness to learn interpretation analytical data like HPLC, LCMS and NMR and

purification skills.

 Good in English written and spoken/ communication.

Job Title: Research Associate/ Senior Research Associate – Synthesis (CRO)

Department: R&D – Synthetic Organic Chemistry

Level: Mid senior level

Experience: 4 to 8 years of CRO experience

Qualification: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry

Key Responsibilities:

 Design and execute the experiments to synthesis organic molecules related to the

medicinal chemistry projects of mg to kg scale deliverables

 Analyze and interpret results of experiments and characterize the molecules

synthesised

 Troubleshoot reaction issues and optimize reaction conditions for delivering the

projects successfully.

 Plan and organize the work for multi-tasking in order to meet the timelines of the

project and to achieve high productivity.

 Regularly record the experimental outcomes accurately in LNBs or ELNBs and

prepare technical documents like project reports.

 Collaborate effectively with other cross-functional teams by fostering open

communication and promoting a culture of trust and respect of the organization.

 Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative research environment.

 Maintain the project chemical inventory, glassware list and instruments.

 Follow health and safety guidelines, safe working practices and GLPs.

Technical skills required:

 Expert in organic Synthesis / multi-step synthesis.

 State-of-the-art scientific knowledge in technical background for synthesis and

purification methods for running the projects hassle free.

 Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and interpret the

experimental outcomes.

 Handling reactions from milligram to gram scale and should have good knowledge of

analytical techniques like LCMS, NMR, HPLC etc.

 Expertise in writing Lab Note Book & Electronic Lab Notebook & detail-oriented

approach to work and documentations.

 Positive and confident individual with strong work ethics.

 Working closely as a team and have a focus on collaboration/ dealing with inter-

departments.

 Good in English written and spoken/ excellent communication skills.
