Responsibilities:

  • Manage
    end-to-end import operations,

including shipment planning, freight booking, tracking, and coordination.
- Prepare and verify
import documentation

(Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.) in line with customs and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with
freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents), shipping lines, and transporters

to ensure timely cargo movement.
- Monitor and manage the
customs clearance process

for smooth and timely release of shipments.
- Ensure
compliance with DGFT, Customs, BIS

, and other applicable import regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, warehouse teams, and external stakeholders to manage delivery timelines and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, documents, and clearance statuses for 
audit and reporting purposes

- Track and report import cost elements, including freight, duties, clearance charges, demurrage, and other relevant expenses.
- Continuously work to
optimize processes

to reduce costs and avoid delays.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of
    import logistics and documentation

.
- Familiarity with
INCO terms, HS codes, BOE (Bill of Entry), and BL (Bill of Lading)

.
- Hands-on experience in
customs clearance procedures

.
- Excellent
coordination, follow-up, and communication skills

.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle
time-sensitive operations

.
