Role Objective

To drive sales growth, market penetration, and brand visibility of Universal Corporation Limited's diaper products within the assigned territory. The Area Sales Manager will lead a team of sales representatives, manage distributor relationships, and ensure achievement of sales targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for diaper brands in the assigned area.
  • Expand market share by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing channels.
  • Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, and motivate sales executives and field staff.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to improve productivity.
  • Distribution & Channel Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility across all sales points.
  • Market Development
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
  • Execute promotional campaigns and trade marketing activities to boost brand awareness.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and credit control.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for timely product delivery.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review.
  • Analyze sales data to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
