Job description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management:

  • Prepare, verify, and manage all export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading (B/L), certificates of origin (COO), and other necessary certifications.

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of the exporting and importing countries.
  • Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation processes.
  • Manage and process documents related to Letters of Credit (LCs).

  • Coordination and Communication:

  • Liaise and coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange shipments and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

  • Communicate with internal teams, such as sales, finance, and logistics, to gather necessary information and ensure a seamless export process.

  • Compliance and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and trade policies.

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all export transactions and documentation for easy retrieval and auditing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: B.Com or Any Other similar Graduate
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in export documentation, logistics, or international trade.

Prefereed Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in EXIM Dept is a must.
  • Candidate shall be excellent in written and verbal communications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word & PPT.
  • Team Spirit, Self Motivated, Logical, Hard working & Good grasping power.
