As the Home Care Fragrance Design team, our mission is to elevate consumers' experiences by delivering extraordinary fragrances to drive desire at scale.

We are looking out for a dynamic fragrance evaluator with not only a passion for fragrance, but also a passion to create rewarding experiences for the consumers we serve, and in doing so make a positive difference to their lives.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Fragrance Design Lead for South Asia.

Main Accountabilities

• You will work as the Fragrance Design Specialist for South Asia within a globally networked Fragrance Design team, to support the effective delivery of Fragrance Design Programme and the fragrance co-creation and selection aspects for our Homecare portfolio across product formats e.g. powder/liquid detergent, fabric conditioner, fragrance beads, unit dose, etc.
• You will support other Fragrance Development Managers/Leads in the fragrance design process, internally and externally, initiating fragrance briefs in the system, setting up evaluations, generating evaluation reports, coordinating with fragrance partners for fragrance sampling & claim support, thus ensuring fragrance technical readiness across all project types (innovation, regulatory).
• You will have consumer visits to various test centres to evaluate our fragrances in real consumer conditions, generate visit reports and share learnings within regional & global fragrance community.
• You will lead the fragrance adaptation work across all the product formats for the UL Innovation & Eco design programs in close partnership with UL Technical Project Leads and Fragrance partners.
• You will lead the coordination with global & regional fragrance analysis team for competitor product analysis.
• You will act as the primary contact for all the fragrance support in claims, demo activation, olfactive mapping of competitor products (new launch/change of existing frg) with fragrance partners.
• You will be responsible for maintaining the digital fragrance library

About You and what you will need to succeed

• 3+ years of fragrance evaluation experience at the fragrance house or FMCG
• Strong olfactive ability to enable objective evaluation of development samples. ISIPCA or equivalent training is preferred, but not essential.
• Passion for understanding consumer fragrance preferences
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration & regarded as a great team player.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects to successful completion.
• Digital mindset and your way of working will ensure that data and insights are captured and maximized across the fragrance design programme
