Role Overview

Responsible for coordinating and executing projects and managing operations as per the stipulated terms of the contract. The candidate must have successfully handled high-rise residential projects (minimum 30 storeys) using shear wall/Mivan technology and should have managed at least 3.5 million of construction area including complete MEP scope. Project value handled should be 500 Cr or more. The role demands capability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and interface with all stakeholders effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) with 20 to 25 years of experience, including 8 to 10 years in high-rise residential projects (minimum 30 storeys, Mivan/shear wall technology).

  2. Project Exposure:

  3. At least two projects with full scope including NSC packages, interiors, faade systems.

  4. Cost-plus project exposure preferred.

  5. Skills:

  6. Strong leadership and coordination ability.

  7. Knowledge of contractual compliance, QA/QC standards, cost control, safety norms, and ISO documentation.
  8. Client and stakeholder relationship management.

Key Responsibilities (Deliverables)

  1. Ensure timely completion of the project as per schedule.
  2. Maintain quality compliance with specifications and ISO procedures.
  3. Achieve cost compliance within budget while improving margins.
  4. Implement safety measures as per project-specific plans.
  5. Motivate and develop the project team for high performance.
  6. Maintain strong client relations and handle escalations effectively.
  7. Foster positive relations with local authorities and communities to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Internal: Regional Head, Accounts & Finance, ISO, HR/Admin, Planning, Tendering, Purchase, Safety, Business Development, MEP, Architect.
  • External: Clients, Architects, Consultants, PMCs, Local Bodies.

Key Activities

  • Project Planning & Monitoring: Prepare and get approval for schedules, monitor progress, manage NSC packages, ensure timely procurement and cash flow planning.
  • Quality Management: Review quality plans, enforce ISO documentation, conduct internal/external audits, close NCs promptly.
  • Cost & Budget Control: Prepare budgets, track unit costs, control material wastage, identify and secure approvals for extra work, ensure timely billing and collections.
  • Safety Management: Train staff, ensure statutory compliance for equipment, monitor site safety practices, conduct safety audits.
  • Team Development: Manpower planning, training needs assessment, performance feedback, disciplinary action handling, mentorship for GETs.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Regular meetings, issue resolution, proactive engagement for long-term relationship building.
  • Community & Statutory Compliance: Maintain records, hygiene standards, and ensure timely statutory payments.
