Role & responsibilities
Project Identification: Identify potential projects requiring quartz slabs or marble, including commercial, residential, and institutional construction projects. This may involve networking with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders involved in construction projects, such as architects, interior designers, contractors, project managers, and developers. Cultivate long-term partnerships to secure project specifications and orders.
Product Knowledge and Consultation: Develop a deep understanding of the company's quartz slabs or marble products, including their features, specifications, applications, and installation requirements. Provide expert consultation and guidance to architects, designers, and contractors on product selection, design considerations, and installation best practices.
Specification Management: Work closely with architects and designers to ensure that the company's quartz slabs or marble are specified in project plans and specifications. Provide technical support and assistance in preparing material schedules, drawings, and documentation to meet project requirements.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, design, production, and logistics, to coordinate project activities and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as contractors and project managers, to facilitate smooth project execution.
Bid and Proposal Management: Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and quotations for projects requiring quartz slabs or marble. Ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and specifications to meet project requirements and maximize profitability.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers, contractors, and project owners to secure project orders. Review contract terms and conditions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to quartz slabs or marble in the project segment. Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to management to support strategic decision-making and product development efforts.
Customer Service and Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to customers throughout the project lifecycle, including pre-sale consultations, product inquiries, order processing, and post-sale support. Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
10. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales and project-related activities. Uphold integrity, honesty, and professionalism in dealings with customer.
Preferred candidate profile
Sales Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the quartz slabs/luxury surfaces/ceramics/marble industry or related field.
Managerial Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing sales teams, setting sales targets, and driving sales performance. Experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve sales goals is essential.
Project Management Experience: Proven track record in managing projects to drive sales growth.
