Deputy Manager – ETS (Tool Design)

Educational Qualification:

Diploma (Engineering)

Specialization

: Mechanical / NTTF

Experience Range (Min-Max):

4 to 8 years.

Critical Skills Required:
Mould design, Moldflow/Moldex3D

Location

: Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

·
      

Tool Design of Moulds (Injection and Compression) for electrical, automotive applications

·
      

Collaborate with R&D, NPI/LCM, customers for feasibility studies and part refinement.

·
      

Develop tooling concepts, tool layouts for single and multicavity tooling with and without Hot runner systems.

·
      

Perform tool design calculations and develop designs and drafting in 3D CAD.

·
      

Apply CAE for Polymer Rheology to Validate tool element reliability.

·
      

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs are feasible and cost-effective.

Functional Competencies:

·
      

Proven experience as a Mould Designer proficient in Injection mould design for single and multicavity HRS and Non-HRS moulds for Engineering Plastics.

·
      

Experience in compression moulding will be added advantage.

·
      

Proficiency in CREO and CAE software for Moulds

·
      

Knowledge of Short Cycle time Mould design will be added advantage.

·
      

In-depth knowledge of Moulding machines, moulded part production processes and experience with thermoplastic.

·
      

Experience with thermoset plastics will be added advantage.
