Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Accountants & Compliance Manager

Location: AAA House, 64, Okhla Estate, Phase III, New Delhi

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting:

To Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime

To Maintain cash flow

To Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts on a periodic basis.

To Monitor petty cash operations and ensure timely reconciliation.

  1. Compliance & Taxation:

Prepare and file statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax, on monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.

Ensure timely computation and payment of statutory dues such as TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and advance tax.

Address and resolve GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI notices, ensuring compliance and adherence to legal requirements.

Monitoring preparation and compliances of ESI & PF

  1. Audit & Consultancy Support:

Collaborate with auditors and consultants by providing accurate and timely data for GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI audits and assessments.

Assist in internal and statutory audits by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and other necessary documentation.

  1. Reconciliation & Reporting:

Conduct monthly reconciliations of debtors and creditors and follow up on discrepancies.

Generate and present MIS reports, budget forecasts, and other financial analyses required by management.

Ensure accurate maintenance and categorization of ledgers for receipts, payments, sales, and purchases.

  1. Payment Verification & Processing:

Verify payment requests and supporting documents before authorizing transactions via cheques, NEFT, and RTGS.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring accurate entries and timely settlements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proficiency in Tally Prime, advanced MS Excel, and accounting tools.

Experience handling tax and regulatory notices.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Experience:

6+ years of experience in a similar role, including exposure to compliance & audits.

REMUNERATION:

Between 8 LPA (Eight Lakhs) (depending upon relevant experience and capabilities)

Gratuity payable as per law

TDS deductible as per law
