Job Title: Retail Sales Officer

Location:Muund or Chembur

Department: Sales & Customer Service

Reports to: Store Manager / Assistant Floor Manager

Job Purpose:

To deliver an exceptional customer experience by understanding customer needs, showcasing jewellery collections, and achieving sales targets while upholding the brands values of trust and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and understand their jewellery requirements.
  • Showcase and explain product features, designs, and value propositions.
  • Convert enquiries into sales by building trust and rapport with customers.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets consistently.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Product Knowledge & Presentation

  • Maintain strong knowledge of product lines, new collections, and promotions.
  • Assist in visual merchandising by ensuring proper display and presentation of jewellery.
  • Keep oneself updated about industry trends and competitor offerings.

3. Store Operations

  • Support stock management including receiving, replenishing, and safeguarding inventory.
  • Adhere to store SOPs, billing, and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain and update customer databases for follow-ups, festivals, and special occasions.
  • Handle customer complaints or escalations with patience and professionalism.

5. Teamwork & Development

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives.
  • Participate in regular trainings and skill enhancement sessions.
  • Share feedback with management on customer preferences and market trends.
