Role & responsibilities

To ensure that the Quality of the offshore services remains as per benchmark

Thorough understanding of quality assurance and inspection requirements of Offshore Platforms, risks associated with the complex projects, technological changes, tight schedules associated with project business. Knowledge of current business environment, competition, planning, vendor management and negotiation.

Preferred candidate profile

To Head Quality Assurance & Inspection of large EPC projects for Offshore Vertical.

  • Monitor project performance with respect to QA&I.
  • Train young engineers in metallurgy, inspection procedures, stringent quality requirements of complex Hydrocarbon Projects. Handle department administrative matters.
  • Interpretation of codes & specifications, assessment by observation, foresee 'hot spots' and take proactive measures, troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, communication skills, people management skills.
  • Auditing, Non-destructive testing, good networking with inside & outside inspection & certification agencies.
  • leadership development, people development, team building, conflict resolution, problem solving, networking, resource optimization, understands fully and responds rapidly to customer needs.
