JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose / Summary:

Calypso Support lead responsible for managing RTB functions of Treasury systems with an overall experience of 10-15 years and relevant experience of at least 5 years in managing production support for Calypso.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Treasury support team responsible for managing smooth working of Calypso and other Treasury systems including trading platforms
  • Lead a team of on roll and outsourced resources
  • Monitor EOD/BOD activities
  • Ensure satisfactory and timely closure of production issues of both functional and technical nature
  • Manage deployments across all Calypso environments with help of bank infra team.
  • Responsible for Release management process including maintenance of CI/CD pipeline of code & configuration changes
  • Manage Calypso MR and Version Upgrades
  • Manage DR activities in coordination with Implementation & Infra team
  • Monitor System performance and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Manage Internal & External stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business partners, third party vendors and technology groups.
  • Maintain project compliance standards

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

  • Application management experience of 15-20 years with minimum experience of 10 years in managing production support for treasury systems
  • Engineering/Management Graduates/CA from premier institutes
  • Basic understanding of Forex, Money Market, Fixed Income and Derivative asset classes.
  • In depth understanding of Calypso system architecture & Interface design
  • In depth understanding of Calypso deployment process using Calypso DevOps
  • Understanding of financial markets business processes across Treasury front office, Market risk, Back office, Credit & Counterparty risk and Finance functions of the bank.
  • Should have understanding of regulatory & trading & information systems used by treasury
  • Experience of leading/participating in end to end product implementation, system migration, version upgrade or system transformation project would be an advantage
  • Should have sound understanding of SDLC process.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication along with presentation skills
  • Should be a self-starter with solution mindset
