Role Overview:

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be the trusted advisor to our BFSI clients, driving growth, delivering customer success, and expanding the adoption of Unacores FIU and Open Banking solutions. You'll build and nurture long-term relationships, act as the voice of the customer, and collaborate across teams to ensure that client requirements are understood and met with innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Own and manage relationships with key BFSI clients (banks, NBFCs, fintechs) to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly visit client offices and engage stakeholders at all levels – from operational teams to CXOs.
  • Understand business needs, gather requirements, and align them with Unacores' platform capabilities.
  • Act as the point of contact for problem-solving, strategic initiatives, and customer feedback.

2. Account Growth & Farming

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional modules, APIs, or analytics services within existing accounts.
  • Support contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and expansion deals to meet revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align campaigns with client needs and industry trends.
  • Drive customer adoption and platform usage to maximize lifetime value.

3. Industry Insight & Customer Advocacy

  • Stay up to date with financial services trends, regulatory changes (such as consent architecture, KYC norms, risk frameworks), and emerging technologies in open banking and data sharing.
  • Serve as the customer advocate internally, influencing roadmap prioritisation and feature development based on feedback and use cases.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to help clients unlock the full potential of our solutions.

What We Expect from You:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or customer success in BFSI, fintech, or SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and grow accounts with measurable impact on revenue.
  • Strong understanding of financial services workflows, risk intelligence, data-driven decisioning, and customer consent frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with CXO-level stakeholders and managing large enterprise accounts.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about building scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (KYC, AML, data privacy) is a plus.
