Dance Program Subject Matter Expert & Evangelist

Role Purpose

We are looking for a
Dance Subject Matter Expert & Community Evangelist

to design, grow, and champion Flurn's Dance Programs (Modern & Classical). This role is a blend of
artistic leadership and business ownership

— ensuring programs are pedagogically strong, commercially viable, and operationally scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Design

: Create structured, age-appropriate curricula across modern (hip-hop, Bollywood, contemporary) and classical (Bharatanatyam, Kathak) streams. Build level-wise journeys (Beginner → Advanced), showcases, and lesson toolkits.
- Teacher Development

: Recruit, train, and certify instructors. Run pedagogy workshops, coach teachers on class management & parent engagement, and standardize delivery with SOPs.
- Business Ownership

: Drive enrollments, retention, and revenue for the dance vertical. Innovate seasonal formats (festivals, workshops) to boost growth.
- Evangelism

: Represent Flurn Dance at events, demos, and campaigns. Build aspirational positioning as the
best after-school dance program for kids

.
- Operational Excellence

: Ensure smooth coordination across classes, music, props, and schedules. Monitor delivery quality through audits and feedback loops.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong grounding in at least one dance stream (modern or classical) with appreciation for both.
  • Experience teaching children; understands pedagogy, not just performance.
  • Comfort with targets, P&L thinking, and scaling programs.
  • Strong leadership and coaching ability to mentor teachers.
  • Passion for building dance into a flagship vertical at Flurn.

Success Metrics

  • Student enrollments & revenue growth, Retention across terms.
  • Teacher quality (training & class NPS).
  • Parent satisfaction & referrals.
  • Brand visibility via showcases & events.
