Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base (dealers/distributors/retailers/OEMs).
- Lead a national sales team — including zonal managers, territory heads, and field executives — with clear KPIs and targets.
- Establish strong distribution networks and appoint state-wise distributors and stockists.
- Design and implement incentive schemes, secondary sales targets, loyalty programs, and performance tracking.
- Monitor channel performance, collection efficiency, and market penetration.
- Ensure field team reporting via CRM or manual structured formats.
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis to stay ahead.
- Work closely with marketing for campaigns, product launches, and branding activities.
- Forecasting, budgeting, and driving monthly/quarterly sales reviews with measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate with production, accounts, logistics, and dispatch teams for smooth order execution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum
3 years' experience as Sales Head/GM Sales
in a
reputed company
(FMCG / Consumer Durable / Sanitaryware industry preferred). - Proven track record of building channel networks and driving secondary sales.
- Strong leadership, team management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and Excel-based MIS.
- Must be
target-oriented
, process-driven, and field-active.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- From companies in faucets, sanitaryware, hardware, or FMCG/durables (like Hindware, Cera, Astral, Jaquar, HUL, Havells, Orient, etc.)
- Comfortable handling
PAN India operations - Capable of
scaling a brand from Tier-1 to Tier-3 markets
