About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control Executive to oversee the quality of materials and workmanship at our project sites in Chennai and Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in civil construction projects with hands-on experience in site QA/QC procedures, material testing, and compliance with project quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor site-specific quality control plans, procedures, and checklists.
  • Inspect incoming materials, ongoing works, and finished structures for compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and document findings through quality reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and vendors to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Verify and ensure proper curing, workmanship, reinforcement placement, shuttering, concrete quality, etc.
  • Maintain quality records, test reports (cube tests, soil, aggregates, etc.), and QA documentation.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to quality compliance.
  • Report quality deviations promptly and follow up on corrective actions.

Mandatory Requirements

  • 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in civil construction projects, preferably residential.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, codes, and quality testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with IS codes, mix designs, testing protocols, and standard checklists.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and report preparation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • Exposure to MIVAN, MSB (Multi-Storeyed Buildings), or large-scale residential projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO, QMS standards, and documentation practices.
