Product Lead – Credit Cards (M7)

About the Role:

The role is for a strategic and innovative candidate to lead end-to-end lifecycle management of proprietary products for mass and aspiring segments. The candidate will be managing a team of product managers focused on enhancing the product proposition to customers, customer experience, driving targeted acquisition in the segments, and delivering business growth through right carding initiatives for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

Define and own the product roadmap for the segments, aligning with overall business goals and customer needs. This covers all initiatives related to the development of new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, requirements definition, product enhancements innovation, feature management based on customer and industry research and enhance proposition experience to customers. 


Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers for respective segments. 


Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with marketing, credit risk, operations, compliance, and tech teams to deliver superior experience to customers across the product life cycle. Ensure necessary product approvals are procured from all stakeholders. 

Data & Insights:

Use customer insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence to drive feature development and prioritization. Thorough financial acumen and P&L management for the segments. Optimized cost to deliver more value to customers. 


Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all product initiatives comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Required Skills and Experience

The candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Post Graduate with 10+ years of work experience. Experience in credit cards / retail lending processes will be preferable.
  • Experience in launching products, driving adoption and digitization customer experiences. 
  • Should possess good communication / interpersonal / problem solving skills.
