Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and maintaining cost sheets, BOM (Bill of Materials), and standard costing for products.

Record and monitor material, labour, and overhead costs accurately.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual cost closing processes.

Analyze cost variances between actual and standard costs and assist in root cause analysis.

Assist in inventory valuation and reconciliation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

Have knowledge of Absorption accounting journals, PPV Reporting, Plating Report, Theoretical Scrap reclass entries, MAP Adjustment working and analysis, LRP and Material Explosion, Production Order Settlement, Data collection for Product drilldown.

Support internal and external audits related to costing.

Help in preparing management reports and cost statements.

Qualifications and Experience:

CMA Inter with 1-3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.

Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Basic understanding of financial statements and cost structures.

Key Skills:

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Time management and organizational skills.
