Job Summary:

The Sr. Business Development Associate – IT Sales will own the complete sales cycle, from generating new leads and building a robust pipeline to closing deals and successfully onboarding clients. The role requires a proactive self-starter with strong knowledge of IT services/products, superior communication skills, and a proven ability to drive sales growth in a dynamic market.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and target potential clients through cold calls, networking, online research, events, and social media platforms.​
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.​
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers; understand client needs and offer tailored IT solutions.​
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.​
  • Manage the sales process end-to-end—from first contact through negotiation, deal closure, contract signing, and onboarding of new clients.​
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition for new customers post-sale.​
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.​
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions using CRM tools.​
  • Prepare reports for management on sales metrics, forecasts, and progress against targets.​
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.​

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 2-7 years of experience in B2B IT sales, preferably in Bangalore or similar metro markets.​
  • Hands-on experience with lead generation, client management, and end-to-end deal closure.​
  • Strong understanding of IT services, software, and digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication, online bidder, negotiation, and presentation skills.​
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.​
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with ability to adapt in fast-changing markets.​
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings or industry events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
