Experience
: 2-5 years of investment banking/ corporate M&A experience

Qualification
: CA or MBA from IIM's/ISB/FMS/MDI

Role Overview -

Investment Banking Associate /Sr Associate
:

The role involves working with senior team members on PE/VC Fund Raising & M&A transaction execution as well as client pitches & business development. Key aspects include (among others):

  1. Transaction Execution Work

  2. Directly interacting with clients & client representatives, investors/buyers/sellers, and other advisors involved in transactions

  3. Preparation of transaction collaterals including Information Memorandums, detailed Business Plans & financial models with analysis and insights
  4. Valuation analysis and support for deal negotiations

  5. Coordinating due diligence and documentation process

  6. Business Development/Sector Coverage

  7. Industry research including understanding/expertise and mapping companies

  8. Preparation of Company profiles, pitch presentations
  9. Outreach to potential clients and investors
  10. Maintaining database of companies, and managing relationships and networking
  11. Participation in industry forums for lead generation and brand building
  12. Organizing or participating in events, marketing programs, etc.

Required Skills

: Candidate would

  • Need to be a self-starter with high levels of ownership,
  • Have the ability to work in dynamic and unstructured work environments,
  • Possess excellent communication skills,
  • Have excellent analytical skills as well as proficiency in excel, powerpoint, word, etc.
  • Have the ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
  • Prior experience in front end investment banking is mandatory
