Marketing Engineer/Sales Position ( Designation upto AM Level ) - Industrial Batteries

Brief Description of Job Responsibilities:

To prospect sales opportunities in the assigned sectors – UPS.

Key account management with major institutional buyers.

Develop business through Channel Partners for specific range of products.

Development of channel partners in terms of regular trainings etc.

Prospecting of new channel partners in unrepresented areas.

Submit product offers.

Techno-commercial discussions with the customer/dealer's customer.

Sales presentations and drive sales promotions activities.

Payment and C form realization and completion of documentation requirements.

Co-ordinate for after sales service.

Educational Qualifications:

Vital: Engineering Graduate – either in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or MBA/BSc or graduate with relevant experience in technical selling field.

Desirable: PG Diploma in Business Administration/MBA from an Institute of repute.

Experience Needed for the Position:

Vital: Between 2 to 5 years of sales experience in selling and familiar with institutional sales/Channel sales.

Desirable: Candidates from Industrial Automation, UPS, Mechanical Capital goods can be considered on priority. Avoid candidates working with dealers and only having service background.

Skills / Competencies Needed for the Position:

Vital: Sales management skills. Technical orientation. Quick to understand customer needs. Good communication skills (including local language). Ability to work in unstructured teams. Good coordination skills.

Personal Characteristics Needed for the Position:

Vital: Highly target oriented. Well groomed and polished manners. Open minded and gregarious by nature. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to forge relationships. Able to withstand pressure.
