Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated
Technical Sales Engineer
to manage and grow our business in the assigned region. The role involves a combination of technical knowledge, sales strategy, and customer engagement, from
lead generation to order execution
.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business enquiries through online platforms, customer visits, calls, and promotional activities.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into confirmed orders.
- Handle
tendering, GeM, and e-tendering
processes for government and institutional projects. - Conduct
technical presentations and product demonstrations
for clients. - Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate orders, finalize deals, and supervise order execution.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare business activity reports for management.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Ensure timely
payment follow-ups
and collections. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and associates.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualification:
Diploma or B.Tech /BE in
Electronics / Electrical Engineering
. - Experience:
Minimum
2 years
in
industrial or institutional sales
(preferably in Power Electronics, LT/HT Panels, or Testing Instruments). - Strong understanding of
Electrical and Electronics fundamentals
. - Excellent
communication and presentation skills
in English and local language. - Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage multiple client accounts.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
