Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated
Technical Sales Engineer
to manage and grow our business in the assigned region. The role involves a combination of technical knowledge, sales strategy, and customer engagement, from
lead generation to order execution
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business enquiries through online platforms, customer visits, calls, and promotional activities.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into confirmed orders.
  • Handle
    tendering, GeM, and e-tendering
    processes for government and institutional projects.
  • Conduct
    technical presentations and product demonstrations
    for clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Negotiate orders, finalize deals, and supervise order execution.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare business activity reports for management.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Ensure timely
    payment follow-ups
    and collections.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and associates.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualification:
    Diploma or B.Tech /BE in
    Electronics / Electrical Engineering
    .
  • Experience:
    Minimum
    2 years
    in
    industrial or institutional sales
    (preferably in Power Electronics, LT/HT Panels, or Testing Instruments).
  • Strong understanding of
    Electrical and Electronics fundamentals
    .
  • Excellent
    communication and presentation skills
    in English and local language.
  • Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
