Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, Build-Release Engineer– Agentic AI

In this role, you'll be part of Genpact's transformation under GenpactNext, as we lead the shift to Agentic AI Solutions—domain-specific, autonomous systems that redefine how we deliver value to clients. You'll help drive the adoption of innovations like the Genpact AP Suite in finance and accounting, with more Agentic AI products set to expand across service lines.
Key Responsibilities
·    Execute planned software builds and deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
·    Assist in managing the release calendar and coordinating deployment timelines with cross-functional teams.
·    Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
·    Prepare and update release documentation, including deployment steps and change logs.
·    Ensure all releases follow change management and compliance protocols.
·    Monitor build and deployment status; identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues promptly.
·    Support the automation of build, release, and configuration processes for efficiency.
·    Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure release readiness and environment stability.
·    Track and report basic release metrics and assist in post-release validation.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
·    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
·    Experience in build/release engineering, DevOps, or application deployment.
·    Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and release automation tools.
·    Experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
·    Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized release processes.
·    Good communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
·    Certification in Azure Fundamentals or Azure DevOps.
·    Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
·    Exposure to ITIL or other change management frameworks.
·    Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.
·    Experience supporting AI/ML or data-intensive application deployments is an advantage.
