Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Build-Release Manager– Agentic AI

In this role, you'll be part of Genpact's transformation under GenpactNext, as we lead the shift to Agentic AI Solutions—domain-specific, autonomous systems that redefine how we deliver value to clients. You'll help drive the adoption of innovations like the Genpact AP Suite in finance and accounting, with more Agentic AI products set to expand across service lines.
Key Responsibilities
·    Plan, manage, and execute the deployment and release of software components across multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).
·    Own the release calendar and coordinate release schedules with product, engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams.
·    Prepare and publish detailed release notes, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders.
·    Facilitate release readiness reviews, sign-offs, and stakeholder approvals prior to production rollout.
·    Ensure compliance with internal controls, change management, and audit requirements for all release activities.
·    Troubleshoot build and deployment issues; implement continuous improvement practices for deployment efficiency.
·    Maintain version control and build automation frameworks (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
·    Establish rollback and recovery procedures for releases to ensure business continuity.
·    Collaborate with security and compliance teams to maintain adherence to organizational policies and standards.
·    Monitor and report key release metrics (success rate, downtime, deployment frequency, MTTR).

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
·    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
·    Proven experience in software release management, DevOps, or build engineering roles.
·    Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
·    Experience managing software releases across multiple environments and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
·    Familiarity with change management and compliance frameworks (ITIL, SOX, ISO, etc.).
·    Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
·    Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related technical field.
·    Certification in Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or similar DevOps/Cloud credentials.
·    Hands-on experience with cloud-based deployment pipelines (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
·    Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
·    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation and process efficiency.
·    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment with evolving priorities.
·    Experience in AI/ML or enterprise-scale SaaS product release management is a plus.
