Business Development Leader

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Leader with a strong background in IT solutions and deep knowledge of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution). The role will focus on driving business growth, building client relationships, and creating go-to-market strategies while leveraging SAP SD expertise to understand client needs and design tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in IT solutions, with focus on SAP SD and related ERP domains.
- Drive end-to-end business development activities including prospecting, client engagement, proposal preparation, and closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, solution architects, SAP consultants) to design and position solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Understand SAP SD modules, functionalities, and integration with other SAP modules to effectively communicate solution value to clients.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships at CXO and decision-maker levels.
- Track industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies to identify new business avenues.
- Deliver on revenue and growth targets for assigned markets/accounts.
Key Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Business, or IT (MBA preferred).
- 1015 years of experience in Business Development / Sales in IT services/solutions domain.
- Proven track record of selling SAP solutions (especially SAP SD) to enterprise clients.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD processes (order-to-cash, pricing, billing, delivery, etc.) and ability to align them with business needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive outcomes in a matrix environment.
- Strong client relationship management and consultative selling skills.
