Job Summary

The Tendering Executive will be responsible for preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals for PEB projects by analyzing tender documents, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely submission of bids. The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of PEB systems, cost estimation, and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare competitive bids.
  • Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals for PEB projects within specified timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Projects, Procurement, etc.) to gather necessary inputs for proposal preparation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify bid requirements and respond to queries.
  • Conduct cost analysis and pricing of materials, fabrication, erection, and transportation for proposals.
  • Monitor tender portals and track relevant project opportunities in the PEB segment.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, bid submission formats, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain tender database and assist in post-bid follow-ups and negotiations.
  • Support the sales team in technical discussions and client presentations.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) systems, structures, and fabrication processes.
  • Knowledge of costing, estimation techniques, and tendering processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in tendering/estimation in the PEB or steel structures industry.
