Job Purpose

  • To provide investment banking research and analytics support to IB/Advisory firm . Work on deal origination and execution work streams

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting our clients on preparing pitch books, company profiles, strip profiles, trading comps, precedent transactions comps, valuation models, industry study, company focused discussion documents, studying & analyzing different business & financial models in a particular / various industry
  • Managing delivery & execution of projects including Memos, case studies, newsletters, broker/operational benchmarking, WACC analysis, potential buyer analysis, change of control analysis shareholder / ownership analysis, etc.
  • Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure "high client satisfaction"
  • Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment
  • Conducting analysis & performing quality control check of the outgoing reports/packs
  • Demonstrate strength and experience in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment

Required Background

  • Post-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.)
  • 2-4 years of experience in the Investment banking space
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in client relationship management
  • Should be able to work independently with minimal guidance as the job requires working with senior leadership team at the client's end
  • Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel and Power Point (extensive use of excel models and powerpoint
  • Working knowledge of database such as Factset, Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Thomson, etc.
