Job Role: Civil Engineer

Department: Construction / Projects

Location: Siliguri

Reporting to: Project Manager / Site Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities on site.
  • Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS), work schedules, and resource plans.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance
  • Maintain construction quality by following standard engineering practices and codes.
  • Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety departments to ensure site standards.
  • Coordination & Supervision
  • Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Supervise site engineers, foremen, and labour teams.
  • Attend regular site and progress meetings.
  • Measurement & Billing
  • Prepare daily progress reports and measurement sheets.
  • Assist in client billing, contractor bills, and verification of quantities.
  • Maintain proper records of materials used and work done.
  • Material & Resource Management
  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials on site.
  • Verify the quality and quantity of incoming construction materials.
  • Control wastage and optimize material utilization.
  • Technical Documentation
  • Maintain drawings, site instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with structural and architectural plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of experience in residential/commercial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site management tools.
  • Strong understanding of RCC, finishing, and infrastructure works.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in high-rise or real estate projects.
  • Knowledge of RERA, IS codes, and quality norms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
