Civil Supervisor

Job Role: Civil Supervisor

A Civil Supervisor oversees and manages day-to-day construction site activities to ensure smooth execution of all civil works as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Monitoring

• Supervise all civil work at site (shuttering, concreting, brickwork, plastering, reinforcement, finishing, etc.).
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, masons, carpenters, and labour teams.

2. Quality Control

• Inspect quality of materials and workmanship regularly.
• Ensure proper curing, alignment, levels, and finishing.
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.

3. Daily Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR).
• Record site measurements, material requirements, and labour productivity.
• Update project manager/engineer on daily activities.

4. Material Management

• Check material availability and coordinate with the store/purchase for timely supply.
• Prevent material wastage and ensure proper usage and storage.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure workers follow all safety guidelines.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce PPE usage.
• Report any accidents or safety hazards immediately.

6. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Assist in planning day-to-day work schedules.
• Handle on-site issues and provide quick solutions.

7. Documentation

• Maintain checklists, pour cards, and inspection records.
• Ensure all work is inspected and approved before moving to the next stage.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction activities.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with safety norms and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
