Roles & Responsibilities Branch Manager
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the overall functioning of our branch, with a strong background in sales, operations, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Target Achievement: Responsible for meeting and exceeding branch business targets across products and services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines including KYC, AML, and CFT at all times.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control branch expenses to maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver superior customer service by understanding client needs and offering suitable financial solutions.
- Sales & Business Development: Drive new business opportunities across retail and institutional segments; develop and manage sales channels.
- Team Leadership: Build, train, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve branch goals and maintain high engagement levels.
- Process Adherence: Ensure all systems and processes laid down by senior management are followed diligently.
- Training & Development: Ensure staff is well-trained on bank products and sales processes for consistent performance.
- Audit & Compliance: Handle internal and external audits, inspections, and ensure full compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with proven expertise in managing a bank branch.
- 5+ years in a leadership role, with a strong track record of driving profitability and team performance.
- Candidates with MBA, CAIIB, JAIIB, or other relevant banking qualifications will be preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Result-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Knowledge of local geography and language will be an added advantage.
