Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage alerts through deployed NMS solutions.
  • Perform basic configuration of network devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Systems, Exchanges).
  • Provide L1 hands & feet support for all Network & Voice-related issues under remote guidance.
  • Understand and support Voice PBX, Dialer, Voice Recorder, and CDR systems.
  • Attend inter-domain network and voice-related L1 calls.
  • Prepare monthly inventory and spare management reports.
  • Ensure adherence to backup management processes.
  • Perform monthly updates of network documentation.
  • Maintain daily device hardening checklists.
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of network & telecom infrastructure and services.
  • Familiarity with Network Products: Cisco, Arista, Wireless Solutions.
  • Knowledge of Telephony / VoIP systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to escalate issues when required.
  • Hands-on experience in alert management and L1 issue handling.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree / Diploma in IT, Electronics, or related field.
  • Networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for interaction with remote teams.
