About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Team Leader to drive passenger vehicle sales (premium cars, SUVs, and EVs) in Mumbai. The role requires leading a team of sales consultants, achieving sales & revenue targets, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience for both retail and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of 6–12 sales executives to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Drive retail sales (walk-ins, showroom leads) and corporate/fleet sales in Mumbai.
- Ensure lead allocation, follow-up, test drives, and conversion ratios are consistently met.
- Train, coach, and mentor sales consultants on product knowledge, upselling, and closing techniques.
- Build strong relationships with HNI clients, corporate customers, and fleet buyers.
- Oversee dealership operations including finance, insurance, RTO, and accessories sales.
- Monitor CRM/DMS systems to ensure accurate data entry, pipeline management, and reporting.
- Plan and execute local sales campaigns, roadshows, tie-ups, and promotional events.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI scores).
- Track competitor activities and share actionable insights with management.
Requirements
- Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 4–8 years of automobile sales experience, with minimum 2 years in team handling.
- Strong exposure to premium / SUV segment (Kia, Mahindra, Toyota, VW, Jeep, Skoda, etc.).
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales & revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Groomed, confident, and capable of handling premium customer experiences.
Mumbai market knowledge with the ability to manage multiple locations preferred.
