Title: Manager / Senior Manager / AGM Pharma Packaging Sales

Location: Hyderabad

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead sales for rigid packaging products including bottles, containers, caps, and closures.
  • Identify new business opportunities across major pharma clusters and convert them into long-term customers.
  • Drive volume growth, maximize account penetration, and expand wallet share.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with procurement, packaging development, and supply chain teams.
  • Lead high-value negotiations and secure long-term business agreements.
  • Ensure smooth customer handling from sampling and trials to approval and commercial supplies.
  • Present rigid packaging solutions with strong technical-commercial clarity.
  • Understand pharma packaging quality norms, regulatory expectations, and customer compliance standards.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to refine sales strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with NPD, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams on customer-specific developments.
  • Support customized bottle/container design requirements based on customer briefs.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance updates.
  • Guide and support junior sales team members when required.

What You Bring

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Plastics, Packaging, Chemical Engineering, or related field (preferred). MBA (Preferred)
  • 10+years of experience in rigid packaging salesbottles, closures, containers, or pharma packaging components.
  • Strong experience dealing with pharma clients
  • Proven success in business development and key account management.
  • Solid technical knowledge of HDPE/PET bottles, caps, closures, and pharma pack formats.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage large customer portfolios.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and comfortable with high-value sales cycles.
