Your work profile

In our BPS Tax team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. Your role will include:

We are seeking a dynamic Manager – Payroll Solutions who will be responsible for leading client conversations during presales, solution design, and payroll implementation phases. The individual will act as a trusted advisor, driving discussions with clients, shaping decisions, and ensuring successful project execution by coordinating across internal and client teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Presales
  • work with the Director & Partner to participate in RFP/RFI responses, solution demos, and client pitches.
  • Translate client requirements into payroll solution designs tailored to statutory and organizational needs.
  • Implementation Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end payroll implementations, from requirement gathering to go-live.
  • Drive workshops with clients to finalize payroll setup, rules, and process governance.
  • Ensure timely delivery by orchestrating inputs from cross-functional teams (tech, compliance, operations).
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders during implementation.
  • Manage escalations, facilitate decision-making, and ensure smooth change management.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Monitor project timelines, SLAs, and quality metrics.
  • Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement in payroll delivery.

Desired qualifications

  • 6–9 years of experience in payroll operations/solutions, with at least 3 years in client-facing or implementation roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian payroll compliance;
  • Proven ability to lead client workshops and influence decision-making.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.

Location and way of working.

  • Base location: Bangalore, Delhi
  • This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
