Job Summary

The HR Operations & Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of

the HR department and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role

involves managing HR processes, implementing policies, and ensuring the organization

adheres to labour laws. The manager will also support the operations team in optimizing HR

functions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Roles & responsibilities

1. HR Operations

● Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

● Support in talent acquisition and ensuring timely closure by utilising various

channels.

● Ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

● Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

● Conduct a comprehensive induction and onboarding plan across units.

● Responsible for managing the organization's payroll operations and ensuring

compliance with all central, state, and local laws and regulations.

● Prepare payroll, ensure accurate and timely payment of wages, and maintain

compliance with labour laws.

● Ensure a smooth & timely F&F settlement process, ensuring compliance with

legal requirements. Also, gathering constructive feedback through exit interviews

2. HR Systems and Data Management:

● Maintain HR systems and ensure data integrity and accuracy.

● Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.

● Manage employee records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with data

protection regulations.

3. Employee Relations

● Address employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues.

● Conduct investigations and maintain records of employee complaints and

grievances.

● Provide support and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.

● Conduct employee engagement initiatives such as R&R activity and

team-building initiatives and prepare employee engagement calendar monthly,

quarterly, etc as per need.

4. Regulatory Compliance

● Stay updated on changes in labour laws and regulations.

● Ensure company compliance with central, state, and local employment laws.

● Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

● Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and audits.

● Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies as required.

● Ensure proper documentation of all compliance-related activities.

  1. Risk Management

● Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

● Implement risk management programs and ensure adherence to best practices.

● Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to address compliance issues.

*Qualifications*

● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

● HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.

*Experience*

● Proven experience in managing HR functions and compliance programs.

● Experience with HRIS systems and data management.

● Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.

● Excellent organizational and time management skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
