Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate
Mechanical Design Engineer (Fresher)

who is eager to learn and contribute to designing innovative mechanical systems for interactive installations and tech-driven experiences. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, designers, and fabrication teams, gaining hands-on experience in building physical systems that bring creative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept to CAD:
  • Convert sketches and concepts into detailed 3D models using
    Fusion 360

(required) and
AutoCAD
- Assist in designing custom mechanical components, structural frames, and motion elements
- Prototyping & Fabrication Support:
- Help create technical drawings for CNC, laser cutting, and sheet metal processes
- Support mechanical prototyping, assembly, testing, and refinements
- Collaborate with fabrication teams and vendors
- Integration & Motion:
- Assist in designing mounts and enclosures for sensors, actuators, motors, and electronics
- Support in building simple kinematic mechanisms or linkages for movement-based displays
- Documentation & Standardization:
- Help prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings, assembly instructions, and QC checklists
- Assist in standardizing parts for modularity and cost-efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Mechanical Engineering

or
Mechatronics
- Knowledge of
Fusion 360

and
AutoCAD
- Basic understanding of materials (metal, acrylic, wood, polymers)
- Interest in
hands-on prototyping

and fabrication
- Willingness to learn about sensors, electronics housings, and interactive product design
- Enthusiasm for building, testing, and problem-solving in a creative environment

Bonus Skills:

  • Any prior internship or project experience in mechanical design, prototyping, or interactive installations
