Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage quality control staff and inspectors.
  • Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures and standards.
  • Inspections & Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze quality data, identify trends, and prepare detailed reports on quality control activities and findings.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, recommend corrective actions, and lead investigations into atypical test results.
  • Compliance: Ensure products and processes comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO) and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and ensure project success.
  • Documentation & Records: Maintain records of inspections, materials, and quality control data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Audits: Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify that quality standards are being met and maintained.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems and develop effective corrective actions.
