Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated
Business Development Executive (BDE)
with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in bidding platforms like
Upwork, Freelancer, and other portals
, and proven skills in
lead generation, client communication, and account management
.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in Gurugram. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, managing accounts, and building strong client relationships. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, developing business strategies, and closing sales to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities through bidding platforms (Upwork, Freelancer, etc.).
- Prepare competitive proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs/RFQs.
- Manage the entire business development cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring smooth communication and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand client requirements and propose relevant solutions.
- Track, analyze, and report business development activities and achievements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum
2 years of proven experience
as a BDE in the IT services industry.
2. Strong experience in
bidding portals
(Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, etc.) with a successful track record.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
4. Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into client-friendly proposals.
5. Strong knowledge of
web development technologies
(Drupal, Moodle, Laravel, Shopify, PHP, Python, Full Stack, etc.).
6. Experience in
lead generation, cold emailing, and LinkedIn prospecting
is a plus.
7. Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
