
ASM/Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional with a strong background in the Construction Chemicals industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing key accounts, expanding the customer base, and leading business development initiatives. This is a strategic and high-impact role, overseeing the Construction Chemicals segment within the retail business line. The role involves setting and achieving sales goals, analyzing performance data, and creating strategies for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of construction chemical products, including admixtures, waterproofing systems, epoxy, grouting materials, additives, resins, solvents, dry mix mortar, and polyurethanes.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders in the building materials industry.
- Develop new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship-building within the industry.
- Handle distributor/channel partners effectively and ensure smooth sales operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer issues and enhance satisfaction.
- Position products for specifications as required by consultants, architects, and other influencers; negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and establish long-term partnerships.
- Manage the full business cycle with clients from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Mentor, guide, and support channel partners or indirect teams to drive performance.
- Manage designated territory/region and ensure effective market coverage.
- Travel extensively across assigned territory as per business needs.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum years of experience in Construction Chemicals sales with proven success in Channel Sales and Project Sales.
- Strong exposure to handling distributors and channel partners.
- Prior experience in building material industry preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and local language.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and target-oriented professional.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable sales strategies.
- Presentable, professional demeanor with leadership capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
