Education:
BE (Metallurgy/Mechanical) or Master's in Chemistry

Experience:
15–20 years in Copper Downstream

Job Purpose
To lead process and quality excellence across
CCR, OFC, RBD, IGT, Copper Alloy, and upcoming downstream projects
plants. The role ensures product quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and innovation by driving continuous improvement and aligning operations with business goals.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Lead downstream process excellence and sustainability initiatives.
  • Drive quality assurance systems (excluding lab) aligned with ASTM, BIS, ISO standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints, manage SLAs, and enhance satisfaction.
  • Partner with R&D teams for new product trials and downstream innovations.
  • Plan production, optimize costs, and reduce quality failures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory standards and sustainability goals.
  • Build capabilities of teams and foster a culture of innovation and ownership.

  • Product rejection rates & cost of poor quality
