As part of our aggressive digital-first growth plan, Republic is expanding rapidly into Digital News under unmatched editorial leadership. We are looking for dynamic, energetic, and focused professionals to join our growing digital team. Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end operations of Republic's YouTube ecosystem, including content planning, editorial supervision, video uploads, monetization strategy, and performance analysis.

Develop and execute data-driven content strategies that align with Republic's editorial voice and maximize reach, engagement, and revenue. Collaborate with editorial, design, and video production teams to drive high-quality, real-time content publishing, including breaking news, exclusives, and live streams. Oversee YouTube SEO, metadata optimization, and audience retention techniques (e.g., thumbnails, CTAs, playlists, community management).

Supervise and mentor a team of junior editors and content specialists to ensure content consistency and operational efficiency. Monitor analytics tools like YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and third-party platforms to identify performance trends and optimize future content planning. Ensure legal and editorial compliance across all video assets, including copyright clearance and rights management.

Liaise with YouTube CMS and rights management systems to handle complex monetization workflows, claim resolutions, and policy compliance. Partner with revenue and strategy teams to explore new monetization opportunities and partnerships. Propose and implement innovative formats and long-form content strategies to build loyal audience communities.

Requirements:8–10 years of relevant experience managing YouTube or digital video operations in a fast-paced news/media environment. Demonstrated success in growing digital video audiences, revenue, and channel performance through strategic leadership. Deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, digital content packaging, SEO, copyright frameworks, and monetization techniques.

Strong editorial judgment and the ability to align video content with a broader news agenda and brand voice. Fluency in written Hindi and English for SEO-rich content creation. Experience with audience insights tools, CMS platforms, and digital rights management systems.

Team leadership experience with the ability to mentor, guide, and grow junior team members. Working knowledge of Photoshop or basic design/editing tools is a plus. Must be available for full-time, in-office work.
