Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations or client services, with 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing large onshore/offshore teams.
  • Strong background working with US-based clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in scaling teams and managing multiple clients.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.

Role Summary:

The Associate Director will be responsible for leading and managing an entire Line of Business (LOB) by driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, team development, and business growth. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, experience managing large teams across onshore and offshore locations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, particularly within the United States. The Associate Director will serve as a key decision maker ensuring KPIs, quality standards, and strategic objectives remain aligned across functions including Operations, Quality, Training, MIS, and Project Delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee end-to-end Line of Business performance including Operations, Quality, Training, Workforce/MIS, and Process Excellence.
  • Drive operational strategies to ensure efficiency and SLA adherence.
  • Ensure continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Maintain alignment between organizational goals, KPIs, and client expectations.

2. Team & People Management

  • Manage large cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor managers and team leads.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Support talent development and succession planning.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for multiple US-based clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients and US internal client success teams.
  • Lead client discussions, QBRs, escalations, and strategic meetings.
  • Ensure all deliverables and performance metrics are consistently met.

4. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Grow existing LOBs and support expansion of new business lines.
  • Collaborate with leadership on revenue planning and capacity forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

5. Technology, Automation & AI Enablement

  • Demonstrate strong comfort with technology, automation tools, and digital platforms.
  • Utilize AI tools and reporting systems to drive insights and improve outcomes.
  • Partner with tech teams to conceptualize and deploy automation solutions.

6. Project & Execution Management

  • Lead cross-functional projects with clear milestones and timely execution.
  • Handle multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining quality.
  • Present business performance and strategic recommendations to leadership.

7. Communication, Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate clearly and confidently across stakeholders and leadership.
  • Create and deliver high-quality presentations and executive updates.
  • Establish governance frameworks to monitor performance and mitigate risks.
