Job Description for Program Manager – Sage India

Sage is seeking a bright, multitasking, and self-motivated individual to support our County Head- India and the overall Sage India Operations. This role requires experience with Project and Program tracking and coordination with global offices and personnel, attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize, execute, track and coordinate multiple projects at the country and at times expanding to the global level. An ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively problem-solve, proactively anticipate and respond while maintaining flexibility and composure.

We are seeking a resourceful, forward-thinking individual with a history of performing exceptionally in an ambiguous environment. A proven track record of effective time management, taking initiative, working with a team but also comfortable working independently, delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations is important. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is self-driven and adapts to changing circumstances

The candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be:

  • Putting together and tracking project plans and schedules. Following up with stakeholders for status updates, ensuring on track delivery of projects. Ability to chair status meetings, take notes and follow up on action items.

  • Maintaining calendar and managing other administrative tasks in support of the India Country Head.

  • Ability to create high quality PowerPoint presentations and charts/reports in Excel. In addition, familiarity with project planning tools as needed.

  • In the absence of the Executive, assess the urgency of issues and delegate accordingly

  • Plan and oversee offsite arrangements and other company events in India

  • Build Effective relations with teams like HR, facilities, Engineering management etc. Can-do attitude, friendly personality, and eagerness to be a positive influence on the team

In this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years in a strategy building, program planning or operations excellence role.

  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information; diplomacy and discretion are essential in this role.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency.

  • Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based application skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.

  • Experience supporting senior-level executives of large business units and proven track record of dedication to internal customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to coordinate with teams across different time zones.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to work a hybrid arrangement. This role will require ~3 days per week in office as needed.
