Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager – Brand located in Gurugram.

Role Overview
:- The General Manager – Brand will be the custodian of Pidge's brand strategy, identity, and storytelling. This role oversees the entire brand organization, including brand strategy, content & design, PR & communications, creative campaigns, and social presence—ensuring consistency across every touchpoint while amplifying awareness and trust. You will work closely with the leadership team, growth & performance marketing, and sales to build an iconic, enduring brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Architecture
  • Define and evolve brand positioning, narrative, and architecture for both supply and demand audiences. Lead brand research, competitor mapping, and customer insight analysis to refine strategy.
  • Brand Identity & Creative
  • Ensure consistency in design language, tone of voice, and storytelling across all channels. Develop and enforce brand guidelines across teams.
  • Content & Communications -
    Oversee strategic content: thought leadership, case studies, blogs, and sales narratives. Own PR, corporate communications, and reputation management. Guide social and owned media presence to amplify credibility and engagement.
  • Campaigns & Experience -
    Design and execute integrated brand campaigns in partnership with performance marketing. Build offline and online brand experiences-events, partnerships, and activations.
  • Leadership & Execution -
    Lead and scale the brand organization (content, design, communications, creative).Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to embed brand into product, sales, and culture. Establish and monitor KPIs for brand awareness, perception, and advocacy.

Key Skills Required
:

  • Strategic Brand Leadership: Proven ability to build and scale a brand in high-growth environments.
  • Storytelling & Communication: Ability to distill complex offerings into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Creative & Campaign Leadership: Track record of executing integrated campaigns (digital, social, PR, offline).
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Experience collaborating with marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable using brand metrics, perception studies, and engagement analytics.
  • People Leadership: Experience building, leading, and mentoring multi-disciplinary brand teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills -
Experience in B2B SaaS, e-commerce, or logistics/marketplace ecosystems. Exposure to both supply- and demand-side audiences. Strong PR/media network and crisis communication management. Experience collaborating with performance marketing (balancing brand & growth). Exposure to international brand building and cross-market positioning.
