Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end procurement operations, coordinate with vendors, handle urgent requirements, and ensure timely delivery of materials. The role involves negotiating terms, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with operations and technical teams. Candidates must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in procurement or supply chain functions within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities and coordinate with vendors for quotations, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Handle urgent procurement requests and critical requirement situations efficiently.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Follow up with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to meet part requirements.
- Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards and internal procurement policies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in aviation procurement, aircraft parts purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to handle urgent procurement requests efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with ERP/procurement software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures or logistics coordination is an added advantage.
