JOB TITLE: Associate Manager/ Manager, Subscription

LOCATION: Navi Mumbai, India

ROLE:

As part of Consumer Pay team, you will be the owner the monetization lifecycle of the users. The role would involve end of end responsibility starting from identification of relevant customer cohorts using data and heuristics, devising and executing various experiments on these cohorts, overseeing and ensuring effective communication of the offerings, monitoring results over lifecycle of the customers, taking data-driven and well thought out decisions on scaling up or scaling down to maximize LTVs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consumer Segmentation & Targeting
  • Use a combination of data analytics and behavioural insights to identify user cohorts with high conversion or churn propensity.
  • Leverage tool to create actionable subscriber journeys and engagement plans.
  • Subscription Brand Communication
  • Define and execute effective brand and communication strategies for Pro and Plus products across user touchpoints.
  • Craft messaging that resonates emotionally with our diverse listener base while highlighting product value.
  • Lifecycle Marketing & Subscriber Engagement
  • Analyse CLM campaigns across internal and external channelsIn-app, PNs, SMS, WhatsApp, and Audio Ads for acquisition, onboarding, upsell, retention, and win-back.

  • Creative Collaboration

  • Partner with design and content teams to guide the creation of compelling copy and creatives, aligned with the brand voice.
  • Campaign Optimization & Reporting
  • Track campaign performance at the cohort level, iterate based on A/B testing, and continuously optimize against KPIs (CTR, CVR, retention, etc.)
  • Translate data into insights and communicate learnings to cross-functional stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a well-rounded candidate with 2-5 years of work experience. The candidate has to be a solution seeker with an understanding of subscriber marketing, customer lifecycle journey and underlying metrics.
• Engineer from Tier 1 college (IIT/BITS/NIT) with 2-5 years of experience of working in Growth or Subscription team of a new age company working in the domain of Music, OTT, Entertainment, Media, Gaming, Travel or Telecom

  • Self-starter, proactive and enthusiastic individual working with can do, will do attitude
    • Excellent number crunching skills and quantitative aptitude
  • Proficiency in Excel and knowledge in SQL is an added advantage, should be comfortable in analysing complex data & deriving actionable insights
  • Ability to own and manage the execution of end to end internal marketing campaigns, to acquire and retain users, including taking the initiative to troubleshoot errors, and assess and initiate improvements to the execution process
  • The person has to be extremely proactive and passionate about his work, should understand revenue & cost dynamics and should be working with ownership mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills
