Role & responsibilities

A). Vendor Management

  • Development and commercial know-how of Casting components.

  • Technically sound in manufacturing processes of casting.

  • New projects Tooling/Capex estimation based on the part geometry.

  • Capacity evaluation of suppliers

  • Floating RFQ, technical synthesis closures, DVP closures with suppliers/R&D

  • Should have good knowledge of vendor database

  • Should have Exposure to work on VAVE Projects.

B). Quality Improvement

  • Capable enough to coordinate with the supplier and QA team for quality improvement

  • Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and delivery requirements

  • Co-ordination with NPD quality team for sample//APQP/PPAP closures

  • Negotiate with Suppliers

Preferred candidate profile

B Tech Mechanical.

Should have experience in Sourcing/Purchase/ Vendor Development

  1. Cost targets by means of strategies / VA-VE/ negotiations

  2. Must have good command on SAP MM module and MS Office
