About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our team. The role involves evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and organizations, assessing financial data, and preparing reports to support effective decision-making in lending and credit risk management. 

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, credit data, and other relevant information to assess credit risk. 

● Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for management and stakeholders. ● Monitor existing accounts to identify changes in risk profile and ensure compliance with company policies. 

● Assist in setting credit limits and terms for clients. 

● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit analysis. 

● Collaborate with internal teams (finance, risk, sales) to ensure sound credit decisions.

● Support in portfolio risk management and identify early warning signs of potential defaults. 

Qualifications & Skills

● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or CFA/FRM is a plus). 

● Proven 2-3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar financial/analytical role.

● Strong knowledge of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and lending practices.

● Proficiency in financial modeling, ratio analysis, and MS Excel. 

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

● Strong communication and report-writing abilities. 

● Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
